The Process

1. Recruitment Events

Held at the beginning of the semester, recruitement events allow eligiable students to become better oriented with the Fraternity from a broad perspective, with no obligation to join. It is a period where individuals may ask questions about the Fraternity. It is recommended to attend at least one of these recruitment events in order to see if the Fraternity is right for you.

2. Interviews

Held after all the recruitment events is one or two interview nights. These are held for brothers of the Zeta Phi Chapter to get better aquanted with interested Iowa State students. This is also a time for students to ask deeper questions about the national fraterntiy, local chapter and the brothers themselves.

2. Initiate Stage

During this stage Initiates will learn all about the national history of Phi Sigma Pi and the local chapter's. Short quizes and a national exam are required to pass this stage. Iniates also plan and participate in chapter events that support our Tripod. A few weeks into this stage, Initiates will be paired-up with a Brother within the Fraternity, who will assist them throughout the process.

4. Induction

Near the end of the semester, initiates are officially inducted into Phi Sigma Pi as Brothers.
